Photobucket

I just found a incredible set of these pics on Flikr, along with an article about the concept and sad demise of these structures.
Sanjhih is a small town on the north coast of Taiwan. It's near Taipei, the capital of Taiwan. In late 70's, a keeper of a rubber company worked out the prototype of the UFO house using his own factory. He wanted to build a contemporary style holiday resort. However, the rubber company closed down in the energy crisis in 1980. The UFO houses that was just begining was sealed up by the bank. In that time, there was only foundation and FPR compoments.

Theme Song For The Three Stooges

The Korn Kobblers were a novelty group from the 1930’s/40’s along the same lines as Spike Jones’ band, yet not as extravagant in their gags. Still, a very entertaining unit, especially their version of Listen To The Mockingbird, which is best remembered as the Three Stooges theme song.

Vogue Picture Disc # 3

Photobucket
The illustrations used on many Vogue picture records are signed by the artist. Ed Basl, a Vogue picture record collector, undertook the effort to track down the persons behind those signatures. Ed kept a record of each of these searches, and has made that information available for our use. Thanks to Ed's efforts, Richard Harker, Will Wirts, Sprink, Corbett, R. Forbes, and M. Kanouse are no longer names unattached to persons.
