In 1938, Bruce Mozert became the first true pioneer of underwater photography, when the idea still seemed like an impossibility. His work is very playful and imaginative, with many fun themes such as underwater golfing, barbecues, and bedroom scenes, photographed in Silver Springs,Florida. A great coffee table book was written by Gary Monroe entitled Silver Springs: The Underwater Photography Of Bruce Mozert. I highly recommend it.
