Shirley Jean Rickert was originally a child actress featured in some of the early 30’s Our Gang comedies, and later the Mickey McGuire series starring Mickey Rooney. As an adult she had a whole other career as a burlesque dancer known as Gilda and her Crowning Glory, until retiring from the stage in 1959. She passed on February 6th 2009 at age 82.
